About the Thousand Oaks Photo Group

Based in Thousand Oaks, the Thousand Oaks Photo Group (TOPG) is a photography club specializing in all aspects of still photography. We are a creative and supportive group organized to meet the needs of photographers in the Conejo Valley and surrounding environs including Westlake Village, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Agoura Hills and Oak Park. We welcome all photographers, whether a beginner, a highly skilled amateur or a professional. We foster a learning environment where all photo club members may learn new concepts and improve their skills. The Thousand Oaks Photo Group is a Volunteer-led organization. We do our best to help you enhance your photo skills and meet with photographers of various levels of expertise and skill.

The TOPG is a social group, providing an environment where local photographers can meet, greet, and learn from each other. We conduct monthly meetings where a variety of photography topics are presented. We feature monthly photo challenges and provide opportunities for photo viewing and critiques every month. The TOPG sponsors outings throughout the year where club members are encouraged to expand their photo skills and expertise. As a member of the TOPG, you may share in monthly meetings and competitions, photography education classes, special evening workshops, field trips and will have access to newsletters and special events.

The TOPG is a 501 (c) (3) California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation registered with the State of California and the United States of America.

The TOPG is a member of the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs (S4C) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA) through the S4C.
